Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal took the off-Broadway stage by storm on September 20, when he made his U.S. stage debut in If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet. The screen fave celebrated opening night of Nick Payne’s new dark family comedy alongside Annie Funke, Brian F. O’Byrne and Michelle Gomez. Directed by Michael Longhurst, the Roundabout Theatre Company production tells the story of Anna (Funke), an overweight teen who forms an unlikely bond with her out-of-control Uncle Terry (Gyllenhaal). After the show, Gyllenhaal, Payne, Longhurst, the cast and their starry guests celebrated in style at the Steinberg Center.
