Chicago's Billy Ray Cyrus Is Broadway.com's Newest Video Blogger

Country chart-topper Billy Ray Cyrus is readying to make his Broadway debut as Chicago's Billy Flynn, and to celebrate, the musician is teaming with Broadway.com for an exclusive look as he preps to take the Ambassador Theatre stage. Cyrus will host his own Broadway.com video blog, The Road to Chicago with Billy Ray Cyrus. 

Set in the jazz age of 1920s, Chicago follows Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover. Desperate to avoid conviction, she hires Billy Flynn, Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer, much to the dismay of her rival cellmate Velma Kelly. Directed by Walter Bobbie, the Tony-winning revival is now in its 16th year on Broadway. Cyrus will star alongside Tony nominee Amy Spanger as Roxie Hart for a limited seven-week engagement November 5 through December 23.

The first episode of The Road to Chicago will premiere on October 23, with four additional episodes set to run before Cyrus begins his engagement in the hit musical.
