David Mamet’s world premiere drama The Anarchist opened at Broadway’s Golden Theatre on December 2. The 70-minute play stars two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone and Oscar nominee Debra Winger, in her Broadway debut. Set inside a women’s penitentiary, The Anarchist is a fast and furious conversation between a former radical (LuPone) and her state parole advisor (Winger) to determine if the prisoner should be set free after 35 years. When the curtain came down on this thought-provoking drama, the two stars joined guests including Zosia Mamet, Marin Ireland and Richard Thomas for an opening night party at Redeye Grill.
