Singing and dancing on Broadway isn't just hard work—on December 3 and 4, the Great White Way's best and brightest had a blast performing for a cause at the 24th annual Gypsy of the Year competition. More than 200 performers from Broadway shows including Bring It On, Newsies, Once, Evita and even the cancelled Rebecca performed hilarious skits, impressive stunts and touching songs at Broadway’s New Amsterdam Theatre. The Lion King took home the award for best performance with their astounding acrobatic number "Tossed Around"—nice work, Lions! In total, Broadway, off-Broadway and touring companies raised a whopping $3,902,608 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Click below to get a front row seat to the exciting event.
