Les Misérables is well on its way to becoming this year’s crowd-pleasing, award-winning musical extravaganza when it arrives in theaters on Christmas day. Film stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne, Samantha Barks and Amanda Seyfried assembled for an elegant photo shoot for the latest cover of The Hollywood Reporter. The new issue chronicles the behind the scenes world of the long-in-the-works movie, and how the actors sang their parts live on set — accompanied by a piano, with the orchestra added in post-production — instead of recording the songs in the safety of a studio.
