Directed by Davis McCallum, Water by the Spoonful centers on Eliot (Armando Reisco), an Iraq veteran who returns home to Philadelphia to connect with his Puerto Rican family, but is disappointed when his troubled mother (Liza Colon-Zayas) is preoccupied with an online support group. Click below for a closer look at Reisco and Colon-Zayas alongside Frankie Faison, Bill Heck, Zabryna Guevara, Ryan Shams and Sue Jean Kim, then see them explore the meaning of love and loss in the play’s New York premiere, opening officially on January 8.
