Fifty-six years after it premiered on television, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella finally arrives on Broadway! Starring Tony nominee Laura Osnes as the title character, Cinderella features a reimagined book by Douglas Carter Beane and co-stars Santino Fontana as Prince Topher and Victoria Clark as Ella’s fairy godmother, Marie. The musical played its first performance at the Broadway Theatre on January 25, and among the evening's receptive crowd was Broadway star Linda Lavin. The Tony-winning actress was on hand to support Mark Brokaw, who directed her to acclaim in The Lyons and is now helming Cinderella.
