Oscar nominee Melissa McCarthy and Oscar winner Sandra Bullock have teamed up for what is surely going to be one of the best gal pal duos ever in this weekend's new buddy-cop action-movie The Heat, directed by Bridesmaids' Paul Feig. There was a time in Hollywood when many believed female characters couldn't carry a show, but Broadway has never had a dearth of stunning and skillful female duos. So in honor of the June 28 release of The Heat, we wanted to take a look at some of the best female partnerships of the Great White Way: Wicked's Glinda giving Elphaba a "Popular" makeover.
