Second Stage Theatre got a big dose of reality (TV, that is) on July 18, when the new musical comedy Nobody Loves You opened at off-Broadway’s Tony Kiser Theatre. Featuring music by Gaby Alter, a book by Itamar Moses and lyrics by Alter and Moses, Nobody Loves You tells the story of Jeff (played by Bryan Fenkart), a philosophy grad student who joins the cast of a reality TV dating show to win back his ex-girlfriend. After the hilarious opening night performance, Fenkart joined director Michelle Tattenbaum and his co-stars Rory O’Malley, Leslie Kritzer, Lauren Molina, Heath Calvert and more for a post-show soiree fit for a reality TV star at HB Burger in Times Square.
