The Old Friends threw a starry bash on September 12 to celebrate a very special occasion—opening night! The darkly funny drama by late playwright Horton Foote tells the story of two Texas farming families, and the generations of feuds and arguments that rise to the surface when Sybil (played by Foote’s daughter, Tony nominee Hallie Foote) arrives home from Venezuela. After the stirring performance, Hallie Foote joined director Michael Wilson and stars Betty Buckley, Lois Smith, Veanne Cox, Cotter Smith, Adam LeFevre and more for a swanky soiree fit for a Texas socialite at the Pershing Square Signature Center.
