Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth had a good cry on October 12 when she caught a performance of the Broadway musical Big Fish, starring her pal and former Wicked co-star, two-time Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz. The Broadway favorite was visibly moved when she headed backstage to meet the cast, and got especially tearful when she reunited with Butz, who plays tall-tale-telling dad Edward Bloom in the new musical. Why all the waterworks? Directed by Susan Stroman and featuring a score by Andrew Lippa and a book by John August, Big Fish tells the touching story of a man who tells extraordinary stories, and his son (played by Bobby Steggert), who wishes he could know his real dad better.
