WWE Wrestler Darren Young Spends a Night Out with the High-Kicking Cast of Kinky Boots

Professional wrestler Darren Young is a knockout both in and out of the ring—this August, he made headlines when he became the first gay wrestler to come out while being an active WWE performer. The sparkling cast of Kinky Boots welcomed Young with open arms to the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on November 1, when the athlete caught a performance of the high-energy, Tony-winning musical. Kinky stars Stark Sands and Kyle Taylor Parker (on for Tony winner Billy Porter as Lola) joined book writer Harvey Fierstein and director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell to greet Young backstage after the show.
