Tony Nominee Lily Rabe to Battle Aliens in ABC Pilot The Visitors

Tony nominee Lily Rabe is to star in the upcoming pilot The Visitors for ABC. According to Deadline, the drama is about the race to prevent an alien enemy from destroying the world.

Written by Soo Hugh and produced by Amblin TV, Rabe will appear as Claire Bennigan, a single Mom and FBI agent who struggles to balance her home life with her working world.

Rabe received a Tony nod for The Merchant of Venice. Her additional Broadway credits include Seminar, The American Plan, Heartbreak House and Steel Magnolias. Her film and TV credits include American Horror Story, All Good Things, No Reservations, What Just Happened, The Good Wife, Aftermath, Letters From the Big Man, Weakness and Medium. She will next be seen on stage in Much Ado About Nothing for the Public Theater’s 2014 Shakespeare in the Park season and on screen in Edward Zwick’s Pawn Sacrifice.
