Christopher Sieber had to delay his first official bow as evil headmistress Miss Trunchbull in Matilda because of a rehearsal injury, however you can still see him on Broadway this week! The Tony nominee's temporarily returned to the slightly less physically demanding role of Charles in Pippin. Hope you heal quickly, Mr. Sieber, those maggots need you to keep them in line!

Jonathan Groff, Norm Lewis & Billy Porter Go Backwards
Memorable performances by Broadway favorites Jonathan Groff, Cass Morgan, Debra Monk, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Norm Lewis, Billy Porter and Andrew Rannells at the ninth annual edition of Broadway Backwards helped raise a record-breaking $423,182. The money from the event held March 24 at the Al Hirschfield Theatre will go to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center.

Newly Discovered Work by Tony Winner Tennessee Williams
An unpublished Tennessee Williams story is to see the light of day. According to The New York Times, Crazy Night will appear in an upcoming issue of The Strand. It follows a jilted freshman’s drunken antics on the final night of school after the 1929 stock market crash and before Prohibition’s repeal.

Some Enchanted Switcheroo at Paper Mill
Mike McGowan is to replace the previously announced Jason Howard as Emile de Becque in South Pacific at the Paper Mill Playhouse. McGowan has appeared on Broadway in Ragtime, Grease, The Apple Tree, Priscilla and The Producers.
