That lovin’ feeling isn’t lost just yet. Beautiful: The Carole King Musical celebrated at six-figure bump in this week’s box office report, reaching $901,959. The long-running favorite was just shy of hitting full capacity, reaching 99.71%. Meanwhile, the 2015 Best Musical Tony winner Fun Home played its final performance at the Circle in the Square Theatre on September 10, and while it took in its highest gross since January, it reached only 65.62% of its potential in its swansong. Holiday Inn entered its first full week of preview performances, and it will take some additional buzz and word of mouth to avoid the underdogs in the coming weeks.
