25 Questions for a Jewish Mother (Off-Broadway) Tickets
Judy Gold's Drama Desk Award-nominated one-woman show 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother has settled in for an extended off-Broadway run. This heartfelt and hilarious evening charts Gold's journey to becoming a parent while learning to be a daughter to her own nagging Jewish mom. To prepare the show (written with Kate Moira Ryan), Gold embarked on a five-year journey across the United States, interviewing more than 50 Jewish woman of different ages, ethnicities and occupations. The result is a moving and humorous portrait of what makes Jewish mother a Jewish mother.
Gold, who hosts HBO's At the Multiplex with Judy Gold and Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time, has been nominated twice for the American Comedy Award for funniest female stand-up. Her off-Broadway show promises to be one of the season's happiest events.
