Three great performances in one show: drama, dancing and music
"BVSC was a show that uses a place to summarize a historical moment where music and singing helped to define a generation of Cuban artists that impacted the world. The storytelling, the dancers and actor's performances paid tribute to the album concerts and documentary that was released in the 1990s. Los musicos were engaging with their vocal solos and on guitar, bongos, and piano. We came in from Chicago to see BVSC and it was well worth the travel to experience this great show. "

Get Ready to Move
"Fantastic music! Inspiring energy! Buena Vista Social Club brought our Spanish speaker to tears multiple times. We non- Spanish speakers missed out on the narrative, but not the vibe. Wow!! I especially appreciated, as a non Spanish speaker, the creative way of communicating the experiences from forty years earlier alongside the current day experiences. Great use of costume, choreography, and staging. The dances drew us into the drama. In the end, the quality music left us longing to explore Cuban music and history. And… we did!"
