What Is the Story of Happy Now??
Happy Now? centers on Kitty, a 40ish Londoner at the end of her rope. She’s juggling a demanding job, a husband who has given up a lucrative career to become a teacher, two young children, needy friends, a passive-aggressive mother and an absent father who lurches from one medical crisis to another. As she tries to keep all her balls in the air, Kitty finds herself asking, “Is this my life? My one and only life?”
