Karla (Off-Broadway) Story

Karla Faye Tucker was sentenced to death and executed in 1998 for a double homicide, making her the first woman in Texas to receive that sentence and have it carried it out since the Civil War. The play concerns the events in her life leading up to the murder and her conversion to Christianity while serving time on Death Row. Karla was originally produced at Broadaxe Theatre in Nashville, Tennessee.
