Heusinger, Breen & More Set for Naked Angels' Next Fall

Casting is complete for Naked Angels’ forthcoming world premiere production of Next Fall, written by the company’s artistic director, Geoffrey Nauffts. Formerly titled The Gospel According to Adam, the play will begin previews on May 26 and open on June 3 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Playwrights Horizons, directed by Sheryl Kaller.

The cast of Next Fall will include Patrick Breen Big River, Celebration/The Room, Fuddy Mears, Maddie Corman films such as Sunshine Cleaning, My New Gun, Swingers, Sean Dugan Corpus Christi, BFF, Nerds, Patrick Heusinger Fiddler on the Roof, TV’s Gossip Girl, Connie Ray Smoke on the Mountain, TV’s The Torkelsons and Cotter Smith An American Daughter, Burn This, The Dying Gaul.

Described as a witty and provocative urban romance, Next Fall chronicles the five-year relationship of Adam and Luke as they grapple with their respective demons. The play places the current Prop 8 controversy in a human context by examining what it means to “believe” in this day and age, and what it might cost us not to.

The creative team for Next Fall includes Wilson Chin scenic design, Jessica Wegener costume design, Jeff Croiter lighting design, and Bart Fasbender sound design.
