Charlotte d'Amboise is returning to Chicago yet again. The actress will begin performances as Roxie Hart on August 10, taking over for current star Paige Davis in the hit revival. D'Amboise will appear in the role until November 28, according to a production spokesperson.
D'Amboise previously earned critical acclaim for her portrayal of Roxie Hart in both Chicago's national tour and on Broadway. For her performance in the show, d'Amboise nabbed the L.A. Her other Broadway credits include Carrie, Song and Dance, Cats and Contact.
Chicago currently stars Davis as Roxie, Terra C. MacLeod as Velma, Christopher Sieber as Billy Flynn and Roz Ryan as Matron Mama Morton. Marti Pellowis set to begin performances as Billy Flynn on August 3.
