About the Show
The new musical Fela! has been generating buzz since it first hit the off-Broadway stage in 2008—and that buzz is only getting louder. The show, about controversial political activist and acclaimed Afrobreat musician Fela Anikupalo Kuti’s wild (and true) life, is currently gearing up for its Broadway opening on November 23, adding new cast members like Tony Award winner Lillias White and original Hair triber Saycon Sengbloh to an already acclaimed cast of triple-threats.
