There is perhaps no greater part than the title role in Shakespeare’s Hamlet. To play the part of the melancholy Dane on the Broadway stage takes equal doses of courage and craft—and being a Hollywood hottie with a marquee-value name sure doesn’t hurt. Enter Jude Law. The movie star with rakish good looks is starring in Michael Grandage’s production of the tragedy at the Broadhurst Theatre. We’re not sure if it’s the Bard or the movie star (ahem!) that attracted such a wide array of celebs to the show’s opening night on October 6, but we’re not complaining. Click on to see Law, his fab co-stars and the starry audience.
