Kenneth Lonergan's The Starry Messenger, starring Matthew Broderick, opens at off-Broadway's Theatre Row.
The Starry Messenger centers on Mark, who teaches astronomy in the basement of the Hayden Planetarium and is struggling with a dead-end career and the monotony of suburban life with his wife, Anne. His world is transformed by a chance meeting with Angela, a driven young single mother striving for a brighter future for herself and her son.
Joining Broderick in the cast are Catalina Sandino Moreno, J. Smith Cameron, Stephanie Cannon, Keiran Culkin, Merwin Goldsmith, Grant Shaud and Missy Yager.
