You've seen them on TV's So You think You Can Dance, Supsterstars of Dance, Ellen and more, but if you haven't seen the hip-hop dance phenoms of Groovaloo live, you ain't seen nothing...yet. Fortunately, the popular dance crew is back in New York City, bringing their signature combination of popping, locking, break dancing, housing and freestyle to the Union Square Theatre for a limited engagement through January 3. More than just a dance show , Groovaloo interweaves exhilarating choreography with the true stories of the dancers behind the movement, creating a unique blend of live theater, music and physical dexterity that will reach audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Broadway.com recently dropped in on this tight-knit crew, including founding member Bradley Rapier, for the story behind the beats. Watch the video to learn what Groovaloo is all about!
