The Tony-nominated revival of Lend Me a Tenor has announced a closing date of August 15, 2010, when contracts end for the current cast of the comedy. However, producers are discussing the possibility of an extension with the stars of the show through Labor Day weekend
Lend Me a Tenor stars Tony Shalhoub, Anthony LaPaglia, Justin Bartha, Tony nominee Jan Maxwell, Brooke Adams, Mary Catherine Garrison, Jennifer Laura Thompson and Jay Klaitz. The show opened at the Music Box Theatre on April 4.
The Ken Ludwig farce follows the antics at in a 1930s Cleveland hotel when a renowned opera star comes to town. The show received three 2010 Tony nominations including Best Revival of a Play.
