You loved watching Sutton Foster and Seth Rudetsky in rehearsal, so we know you’ll be excited to see our performance video of the Actors Fund’s They’re Playing Our Song benefit. This one-night-only event, held on August 30 at John Jay College’s Gerald W. Lynch Theatre, reintroduced this irresistible 1979 musical about a songwriting team (based on Marvin Hamlisch and Carole Bayer Sager, who wrote the catchy score) struggling to balance work and love. After the performance, Broadway.com chatted with Foster, Rudetsky, director/choreographer Denis Jones and very special guests Lucie Arnaz and Robert Klein, who starred in the fondly remembered original Broadway production.
