This one-night-only event, held on August 30 at John Jay College’s Gerald W. Lynch Theatre, reintroduced this irresistible 1979 musical about a songwriting team (based on Marvin Hamlisch and Carole Bayer Sager, who wrote the catchy score) struggling to balance work and love. After the performance, Broadway.com chatted with Foster, Rudetsky, director/choreographer Denis Jones and very special guests Lucie Arnaz and Robert Klein, who starred in the fondly remembered original Broadway production.
