Old Hickory is headed uptown! Yes, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, winner of Broadway.com’s 2010 Audience Award for Favorite Off-Broadway Musical, will make its Broadway debut beginning September 20 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. With a young and talented cast led by dreamy Benjamin Walker in the title role, this cheeky musical portrait of America’s seventh president is poised to cause a sensation on the Great White Way. On September 8, the company performed and posed for photos at press preview at Playwrights Horizons’ rehearsal studios. Click on for a whiff of populism, yeah, yeah!
