In The Scottsboro Boys, the final musical collaboration between Tony-winning composing team John Kander and the late Fred Ebb, audiences learn the real-life story of a group of young African-American men falsely accused of raping two white women in 1930s Alabama. The new musical, presented in the once-popular minstrel-show style, includes an ensemble of triple-threat performers led by Joshua Henry as Haywood Patterson.
