Broadway stars will celebrate Thanksgiving in the Macy's parade.
Cast members from the Broadway musicals Memphis, Elf, American Idiot and Million Dollar Quartet will be featured in the 2010 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 25. Broadway vets Betty Buckley and Ann Hampton Callaway are also on the list of performers announced for the 84th annual holiday event, together with pop stars such as Kanye West, Miranda Cosgrove and Gladys Knight. In addition, a float adorned with a 12-foot-tall top hat will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Apollo Theatre.

The parade route, which was revised in 2009, begins at Central Park West and 77th Street, turns on east Central Park South and then south on Seventh Avenue, turns east on 42nd Street and then marches down Sixth Avenue to Macy’s at Herald Square. The live telecast on NBC is set to begin at 9AM on Thanksgiving Day.
