Betty Comden and Adolph Green crafted lyrics for Broadway classics such as On The Town, Bells are Ringing, Wonderful Town and many more. So it was only fitting that their work provide the centerpiece for the the 16th annual Nothing Like a Dame concert benefitting the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative of the Actors Fund, founded by Green's wife, actress Phyllis Newman. Onstage at the Laura Pels Theatre for this "Party for Comden and Green" were Broadway talents including Victoria Clark, Mario Cantone, Marc Kudisch and Mary Testa, performing favorites from the pair's extensive songbook.
