Broadway Darling Bernadette Peters Talks Night Music on Today

Broadway fans got a treat on December 21 when Tony winner Bernadette Peters, currently starring as Desiree Armfeldt in A Little Night Music, stopped by Today for a chat with morning show mavens Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. The trio talked all things Night Music, from Peters’ onstage mother Elaine Stritch to her heartbreaking rendition of “Send in the Clowns,” as well as some issues near and dear to Peters’ heart: the publication of her second children’s book, her love of pit bulls and her first experience writing her own songs.
