Vineyard Theatre's Hollywood-Themed Picked Sets Off-Broadway Opening

The Vineyard Theatre's previously announced world premiere production of Christopher Shinn's Picked will begin performances on April 5, with opening night set for April 20. Michael Wilson (Dividing the Estate, The Orphans' Home Cycle, The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore) has signed on to direct. No casting or creative team members have been announced.

Picked centers on a young actor who suddenly finds himself cast in a big-budget Hollywood movie helmed by a legendary director. He soon learns that he is not quite prepared for the events that follow.

The Vineyard's season will also include interactive theater experience Interviewing the Audience, which begins performances on February 3 and will run through February 27.
