A new play by Angels in America scribe Tony Kushner is definitely a must-see. Heck, the title alone—The Intelligent Homosexual’s Guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures—makes us eager for previews to begin on March 22 at the Public Theater. (The play is a joint production by the Public and Signature Theater Company, which has mounted a sold-out off-Broadway revival of Angels as part of its special Kushner season). On March 2, the playwright, director Michael Grief and the 11-member cast met the press and posed for after-rehearsal shots and at Chelsea Studios. Broadway.com was there to get a preview—and get excited!
