About the Show
The always hospitable James Earl Jones welcomed a pair of lovely ladies to the March 22 performance of Driving Miss Daisy, talk show host (and Oprah BFF) Gayle King and off-Broadway-bound actress Sanaa Lathan. Jones knows both visitors well: He recently channeled Justin Bieber on King’s new TV show, and he starred as Big Daddy opposite Lathan’s Maggie last year in the London revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Broadway.com stepped backstage at the Golden Theatre for a "hot shot" of Jones, King and Lathan, who will begin previews on April 6 in the title role of By the Way, Meet Vera Stark at Second Stage. Jones ends his run in Daisy on April 9, so hurry in to see this heartwarming revival.
