Pee-wee Herman Channels Oscar Winner Melissa Leo in Hopes of Emmy Glory

Pee-wee Herman (aka comedian Paul Reubens) may not have scored a Tony Award nomination for his Broadway extravaganza The Pee-wee Herman Show, but the lovable Playhouse host still has a chance at awards glory at the Emmys due to HBO's broadcast of the play. Spoofing actress Melissa Leo's much-talked-about Oscar campaign earlier this year for her work in The Fighter, Pee-wee is hoping to grab Emmy voters' attention by hopping into a furry outfit for his own "For Your Consideration" ad. Take a look at the hilarious photo, and keep an eye out for the Emmy nominations come July 14. Despite criticisms, Leo's ads seemed to work, as she took home the Best Supporting Actress trophy.
