The Empire State Building Goes Pastel to Honor Mamma Mia's 10th Anniversary

In a symbolic event on October 18, the stars of Mamma Mia! presided over a lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building in honor of the hit musical’s 10th anniversary on Broadway. (The iconic skyscraper will be illuminated in pink, white and blue to mark the occasion.) Broadway.com headed down to 34th Street to see show creator Judy Craymer and stars Lisa Brescia, Judy McLane and Jennifer Perry do the honors, then zipped up to the observation deck for a few souvenir photos. It was the start of a busy day for the Mamma Mia! team, who will celebrate their big milestone at a gala performance at the Winter Garden Theatre.
