Many people take the day off on their birthday, but Mandy Patinkin celebrated turning 59 with two Broadway performances of An Evening With Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin. After the matinee on November 30, LuPone summoned 10 lovely chorines to the Ethel Barrymore Theatre stage to serenade the clearly surprised Patinkin and lead the audience in singing “Happy Birthday.” Broadway.com arrived just in time to share the happy scene.
