Megan Osterhaus assumes the title role in the national tour of 'Mary Poppins.'

There’s a new nanny hitting the road! Megan Osterhaus has joined the national tour of Mary Poppins as the magical caretaker who changes the lives of the Banks family. Osterhaus assumes the role on December 6 during the North American tour’s engagement in Toronto.

Osterhaus joins the national tour directly from the Broadway company, where she played the role of Winifred Banks. Previously, she was part of the opening cast of the Mary Poppins tour. She played Sophie on Broadway in Mamma Mia! and appeared in regional productions of Thoroughly Modern Millie, Children of Eden and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Osterhaus joins a cast that includes Nicolas Dromard as Bert, Laird Mackintosh as Mr. Banks and Blythe Wilson as Mrs. Banks.
