Stars of the new musical Once, based on the 2007 film, had more than one reason to celebrate on December 6: The show, which opened off-Broadway at New York Theatre Workshop, has been tapped for a Broadway transfer beginning February 28, 2012. The film’s stars, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, who won a Best Song Oscar and composed the score for the stage adaptation, were on hand at the show's afterparty at Phebe's to share in the excitement with stage counterparts Steve Kazee and Cristin Milioti. It is easy to see why audiences are “falling slowly” for this romantic new musical!
