Melissa Errico was in love with composer Michel Legrand’s music long before she starred in his Broadway show Amour, and the love affair continues in their new album collaboration, Legrand Affair. A singer with Broadway shows like White Christmas, My Fair Lady, High Society and Dracula under her belt, Errico recently sat down with Broadway.com to talk about her new album of Legrand tunes, and the evocative, sexy musical style of his that she’s always been drawn to. Errico, who describes herself as a “flat-out fan” of the composer, discovered his work through her father, a doctor with concert pianist dreams. “When he really wanted to seduce my mom, he started playing Michel Legrand music.” Click on below to hear Errico's take on this romantic record, available on Ghostlight Records, and catch her live at Joe’s Pub on April 17.
