As Kristin Chenoweth preps for the premiere of her new ABC series GCB, the Tony-winning star was honored for her Broadway roots at the 2012 Drama League benefit gala. The annual event, which helps fund the Drama League’s Directors Project, was held at the Pierre Hotel and drew a glittering black-tie-clad crowd. After a filet mignon dinner, guests were welcomed (or “wilkommen-ed”) by Chenoweth’s Wicked co-star Joel Grey, then treated to a program that included performances by Donna Murphy, Cheyenne Jackson, Nick Jonas, Elmo and many more.
