Rated P For Parenthood, a musical comedy about childrearing, begins previews on February 8 at off-Broadway’s Westside Theatre. The production stars Courtney Balan, Chris Hoch, David Josefsberg and Joanna Young and features music by Dan Lipton and David Rossmer, a book by Sandy Rustin and lyrics by Rustin, Lipton and Rossmer. Directed by Jeremy Dobrish, Rated P for Parenthood opens officially on February 29.
Rated P for Parenthood is a selection of songs and sketch comedy vignettes that chronicle each stage of modern-day parenting, from conception to college. The cast of four explores a variety of touching and humorous relationships between parents and their children.
The Rated P For Parenthood creative team includes choreographer Rachel Bress, scenic designer Steven Capone, costume designer Emily DeAngelis, lighting designer Michael Gottlieb and sound designers Jill BC DuBoff and David Sanderson.
