Tony Award nominees Tony Sheldon (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) and Celia Keenan-Bolger (Peter and the Starcatcher) are among the Broadway vets taking part in The Chorus Boy Chronicles, a special one-night-only benefit performance at the Recession Art at CULTUREfix on March 7.
Joining Sheldon and Keenan-Bolger onstage will be Nick Blaemire (Godspell) and Santino Fontana (Sons of the Prophet). The evening of cabaret standards and salacious backstage tales will feature selected readings by author and Broadway dancer Brian Spitulnik (Chicago), whose literary column, The Chorus Boy Chronicles, is published bi-monthly on McSweeney's.
All proceeds from the The Chorus Boy Chronicles will benefit the Point Foundation, an organization that offers mentoring and leadership training to students who are marginalized due to sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
