Where do Broadway costumes go to retire? In keeping with a grand New York tradition, they head to Pompano Beach, Florida. Today Show contributing correspondents Jenna Bush Hager and Sara Haines headed south to check out Costume World, where Marilyn Wick has amassed a collection of half a million original Broadway costumes. Among the impressive offerings on display are the original reversible band jackets from The Music Man, the matching children’s outfits from The Sound of Music and original threads from Fiddler on the Roof. The Today Show staff back in the New York studio also got in the spirit, so click on below to see Matt Lauer in a hat from Kiss Me, Kate, Ann Curry in Carol Channing’s hat from Hello, Dolly and more fabulous pieces of Broadway costume history.
