The complicated relationship between a grandmother and grandson is illuminated in Amy Herzog’s 4000 Miles. The play chronicles three weeks during which lost-in-life Leo (Gabriel Ebert) takes up residence with his feisty 91-year-old grandmother (Tony winner Mary Louise Wilson) in her West Village apartment. Directed by Daniel Aukin, this Lincoln Center Theater production offers a fascinating and often funny portrait of a family.
