As Mary Jane Watson, the object of Peter Parker’s affection in Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark, Rebecca Faulkenberry is often a damsel in distress. But when the actress invited Broadway.com into her dressing room at the Foxwoods Theatre, she was happy to share all the things that help her de-stress. There’s the digital picture frame that keeps her feeling close to home, a program from Annie (her very first show) and the baby guitar she strums every night to relax. Of course Faulkenberry’s space wouldn’t be complete without an ode to her Bermudian roots: From the vintage “Bermuda By Air” sea posters to the sea turtle keychain covered in Rock of Ages glitter symbolizing her belief that “everyone and every animal has to stick their neck out a bit to get ahead,” Falkenberry's backstage space is easy, breezy and beautiful.
