This week the world of romantic comedies got smaller after the passing of three-time Oscar-nominated screenwriter, director, playwright and essayist Nora Ephron. Ephron reinvented the rom-com with her 1989 hit When Harry Met Sally, starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan. Since that blockbuster love story, Ephron penned films including Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, Bewitched and Julie & Julia. She also wrote the Broadway play Imaginary Friends and co-authored the Drama Desk-winning off-Broadway play Love, Loss, and What I Wore. With all this Ephron nostalgia, we couldn’t help but ponder which film of hers should warm hearts as a Broadway musical (excluding Sleepless in Seattle, since it’s already being adapted for the stage). So now we want to know: Which Nora Ephron film should be made into a Broadway musical? Vote below!
