Performances have begun for the Signature Theatre Company revival of Athol Fugard’s dark drama The Train Driver, and we’ve got a gripping first look at photos of the new production. Starring Leon Addison Brown and Ritchie Coster, The Train Driver is the story of Roelf (Coster), a train driver who has spent weeks searching for the identities of a mother and child he accidentally killed with his train. Roelf confides in Simon (Brown), a gravedigger, creating a powerful bond between the two men. Click below for photos of the emotional new production, then see The Train Driver at off-Broadway’s Pershing Square Signature Center, opening officially on September 9.
