Weekend Poll: Who Should Star in a Broadway Musical Version of Tootsie?

Weekend Poll: Who Should Star in a Broadway Musical Version of Tootsie?
Which actor should lead the upcoming Broadway adaptation of 'Tootsie'?

Move over Annie, there’s a new redhead coming to town! Earlier this week, plans were announced to adapt the beloved Oscar-nominated film Tootsie for the Broadway stage. The 1982 movie starred Dustin Hoffman as Michael Dorsey, a frustrated actor who disguises himself as a woman and lands a part on America's biggest soap opera. Hoffman received an Oscar nomination for playing Dorsey and his alter ego Dorothy Michaels, and there's no doubt the double role would make for a juicy part on stage as well. Hoffman’s shoes (and signature red sequined dress!) will be hard to fill, but we've compiled a list of fabulous Broadway actors who would do a fantastic job transforming from brooding method actor to beloved soap diva. Now it’s your turn to weigh in: Which Broadway actor should star in the Tootsie musical? Vote below!
